azure-rumped Tanager (Tangara cabanisi)

Nativa do México e Guatemala, essa espécie da família Thraupinae é considerada em risco de extinção, em grande parte pela derrubada das florestas nativas. Ilustrei um par próximo a uma de suas frutas prediletas, do gênero Ficus. Não possuem dimorfismo sexual aparente.

Native to Mexico and Guatemala, this species of the Thraupinae family is considered to be at risk of extinction, largely by the overthrow of native forests. I illustrated a pair next to one of his favorite fruits of the genus Ficus. They have no apparent sexual dimorphism.
